At Nikki Curran Consulting, I bring decades of hands-on experience in recruitment, training and career development to help individuals and organisations succeed. My journey—from hospitality and corporate recruitment to job search coaching—has given me a deep understanding of both what employers look for and how individuals can position themselves for success.
My Background:
Originally from Sligo, I began my career in hospitality management after graduating from the Shannon College of Hotel Management. These early years laid a foundation in service excellence, operations and leadership. After gaining international experience and travelling extensively, I transitioned into training and employment development, working with FÁS in Dublin to design and deliver external training programmes. Here, I was directly responsible for recruitment, delivery and job placement—achieving exceptional employment rates for programme participants.
A move into the corporate sector led me to Accenture’s European Services Centre in Dublin, where, as Assistant Facilities Manager, I led a team of 25+ and while the role was operational in nature, it gave me valuable insight into recruitment coordination, team development and the importance of hiring the right people to support a high-performing workplace.
Returning to My Roots: The Career Clinic
After more than three decades of diverse professional and life experiences, I returned to Sligo with a clear vision: to help individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of the job market with confidence and strategic insight. I founded Nikki Curran Consulting to bridge the gap between what job seekers need to succeed and what businesses require for effective recruitment.
